Due to a hilarious confluence of circumstances involving flight delays and rescheduling, I ended up somehow getting upgraded to first class on a flight when that probably shouldn't have happened. I can now report my findings:
All the vegetarian food in airports is hidden in the first class lounge. You can't buy it for love or money in the main airport, but it flows like cheap whiskey in the first class lounge.
Apparently rich people eat more morally than I thought.
@Aleums one of my fav things about neural nets working with cat pictures is that so much of the source imagery it learns from has IMPACT TEXT on it. so it learns that cats look like that, that it's a part of a cat.
@pixelfed I just deployed a Pixelfed instance but don't see anything in the discover view. Are there any cool accounts I can follow to get that populated?
I'm playing with running an
instance of #pixelfed but haven't figured out how its federation works yet.
Anyone know of any interesting Pixelfed accounts to try to follow? (Or any at all? Discovery here is more difficult than I expected!)
My new house has ethernet jacks in most rooms! Hooray!
But I cannot for the life of me figure out why the cable runs all terminate in a *tiny* panel hidden in the unventilated coat closet next to the front door. A closet with no power.
I'm putting a small POE switch in there and hoping it doesn't heat up too much...
I'm famous on the Internet!
MOBILIZON (beta) IS OUT! Free, open source, decentralized, (soon) federated, privacy by design software to allow us to organize freely. So proud to be part of it!
Playing a dungeon game where a neural net is DMing has a lot in common with lucid dreaming.
Text in particular is slippery and resistant to being read.
